Keeping Synthetic Urine Warm for Success
As much as 95% of employers prefer urinalysis as a drug testing method, and this specific statistic may have increased the popularity of synthetic urine through the years. However, proper usage of the product is a must for success.
Reasons to Synthetic Urine Warm
As initial drug screening often does not include checking a sample’s validity, the testing staff merely checks the submitted specimen’s temperature as a way of ensuring that it hasn’t been substituted. Human urine is warm by nature, which means your synthetic urine sample should also be warm, or the testing staff may decline it, believing it’s fake. Of course, if you’re caught, you’ll be in trouble, and that is the last thing you want.
Temperature of Human Urine
Human urine’s normal temperature can be anywhere from 94F to 96F. The staff usually records the temperature of a drug test sample within 4 minutes of receiving it, knowing that ambient temperature can cause changes in it. The acceptable range is from 90F to 100F; if a sample is any cooler or warmer, it is automatically questionable.
Heating Synthetic Urine
These are the most common methods of heating synthetic urine:
Microwaving synthetic urine is by far the simplest way to warm it up enough. Just put the container inside a microwave and let it stay for around 10 seconds. To know if the sample is usable, use a temperature strip. Don’t leave it in for longer as excessive heat can destroy it. The properties of natural human urine can no longer be restored even as the sample’s temperature decreases.
Hand warmers are handier and always available, making them a more practical option than the microwave. All you have to do is pour the sample into a small container or a sealed bag, and wrap the hand warmer around it with the help of an elastic band or tape. Not all hand warmers work the way however. Get one that maintains a 90F to 100F heat range and will remain there for as long as you need it to.
Sometimes, you won’t have to look for – your own body can be your best synthetic urine warmer. Once the sample is in a sealed plastic bag, put it between your inner thighs or inside your undies. Another good spot is inside your bra, if you’re a woman, or under your armpits.
Practice, Practice, Practice
Finally, before actually showing up at a testing facility with your synthetic urine, don’t forget to practice, practice, practice. You need to know exactly what you’re going to do and how you’re going to do it to avoid getting caught. More practice means you will be more relaxed during the testing, instead of being all anxious and fidgety.
